Cleaning surfaces...
 
  • removal of rust and forging shapes at metal surfaces
  • removing of moulding material residue at castings
  • removing of tempering colours, e.g. on stainless steel

 
The use of the right "cleaning deflashing media" always conforms
to the demands of the finally wished kind of surface.
 
The following composition can't be seen as universally valid,
but as starting point.

Steel shot VERA GS-R (spherical)
Steel grit GS-K (angular)
Steel grit angular
Chilled iron grit DIAMANT ¹
Malleable shot and grit THERMODUR ¹

Nonferrous casting
Nonferrous metals
Steel shot made of stainless steel
Light metal abrasive GRANAL
Glass beads
Glass grit
Ceramic beads
High-grade corundum white and pink
Electro corundum NK I and NK II
Duroplast MB ²
Duroplast MC ²
Kernel and shell granule ²
Corncob granule ²
 
Materials such as
wood, plastic,
glass, etc.

¹  = should only be used in air-blast systems. The use in wheel-blast systems is only conditionell
      meaningful, and because of the increased wear of the machine not advisable
²  = should also be used only in air-blast systems
³  = only clever, when eventual residues don't matter on Fe-particles
